Interactions with a stranger

Epithelium is from Fiverr, and he is one of the nicest people ever. He went out of his way to help me, even filmed the light from his balcony just to make sure I'd be happy with it. One of the main reasons I chose him, besides being handsome was that I've become aware my ghosts feature too many white males and wanted to ensure I work with as many different faces as possible.

Reporting on the creative process

He included 9 different videos for me to use, the one I ended up selecting had him change his posture half way through. This caused the 3d model to have the face start and end at different locations but all attached to the same base body shape. I really liked this fractured look, it was as if his face was slipping off an outer layer to reveal a newer version of himself. Everything I did from there on was to accentuate that fundamental glitch in the model. This ghost also marks the 20th in this project - in that time I've also changed along side the project, slipping off my own 'layers' to be a newer version of me - heres to 20 more.
